Paintings – Sky, Land, Water
Love of the natural world and concern for the environment has led to making paintings focusing mainly on imagery of the sky. Using my own photos as a starting point and/or reference helps me to retrieve the memory of walking along the shore of Lake Michigan or experiencing the Alamosa Sand Dunes at sunset. The sky is beautiful and always changing, offering painterly challenges. It fills me with inspiration and wonder.
